Yong-chin

Yong-chin is a makeup artist specialising in identity and self expression. She works predominantly in the fashion and music industry designing striking makeups embodying the artistic persona of the musician, model or even herself. Inspired by her dual nationality of Scottish and Malaysian, she has developed a distinct style of makeup that illustrates emotion by restructuring the face and is vivid in colour.

Yong-chin is the Winner of BBCs “Glow Up Britain’s Next Makeup Star” 2022 and has since succeeded in building a reputable name in the industry, working at London and Paris fashion week to presenting makeup masterclasses across the UK. Yong-chin is now developing creative courses, specialising in fashion and beauty history and creative direction to inspire the next generation of artists.
