Celebrating Black Excellence: In Your Dreams’ Commitment to Black History Month

In Your Dreams has always been about embracing creativity, individuality, and diversity. As we enter Black History Month, we want to take a moment to reflect on our journey as a company, our commitment to supporting Black creators, and the steps we’ve taken to contribute to positive change.
Black Lives Matter was a pivotal moment that prompted important conversations and actions worldwide. We realized that it’s not enough to simply not be racist; we must actively educate ourselves and find ways to make a positive impact. In Your Dreams partnered with Black Minds Matter, a UK charity dedicated to providing therapy and mental health support for Black individuals who may not have the means to access it. We contributed to this vital cause through the sales of a special product we launched at that time.

2. Celebrating Our Incredible Black Creators
At In Your Dreams, we recognize that our company wouldn’t be what it is today without the contributions of our talented Black creators, artists, colleagues, and peers. Their creativity and unique perspectives have shaped our brand and allowed us to offer a diverse range of products and experiences. Throughout Black History Month, we will be shining a spotlight on some of our outstanding Black creators who continue to inspire us with their talent and innovation. 3. Making a Difference Through Partnerships
We are proud to have worked with charities like The Grenfell Foundation and Black Minds Matter, each dedicated to making a positive impact in the Black community and beyond. In addition to our charitable endeavors, we’ve also participated in mentoring programs such as the Creative Mentor Network through Soho House.
One of the remarkable individuals we had the privilege of meeting through this program is Chani Ra. She is an exceptional creator, artist, writer, and nail artist who has continued to be a valued collaborator and inspiration to us since 2020. Her talent and passion exemplify the spirit of In Your Dreams.
As we navigate Black History Month, we want to reaffirm our commitment to supporting and celebrating Black excellence.
